What is Solar Decathlon China？

It is well-known that Solar Decathlon China (SDC) is originated from Solar Decathlon (SD)

launched by the Department of Energy of United States. Since the first Solar Decathlon in 2002, 

284 collegiate teams—nearly 43,000 students—have engaged in five competitions around the world:

the flagship U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon, Solar Decathlon Europe, Solar Decathlon

China, Solar Decathlon Latin America and Caribbean and Solar Decathlon Middle East. Following

are some statistics to show how SD can live up to the fame of the “Solar Olympics”.

SD has not only cultivated the talent pool for clean energy, but also worked as the

entrepreneurship incubator in this industry. All the statistics makes us feel a great sense

of hope for the future development of the decathletes as well as the clean and bright
